Pike (Ving Rhames) never seems to make the right decisions in life. A good man who always gets mixed up with the wrong people. After being released from prison, he's visited by his good friend, Crane (Forest Whitaker) who knows he can talk Pike into the 'sure score' - a 'no guns, no violence' hit on an art gallery that will set them up for life. Crane has the contact who will purchase the stolen art for $15 million. After little persuasion, Pike agrees to participate and meets the rest of the team, Hobbs, the getaway driver, Hothead Chino, and Booker, the nervous, highly strung type. The outcome is far different than the 'sure score, no guns, no violence' proposition Crane originally gave Pike.
